An opportunity has arisen for a talented Chef to join Cater Plus and our team at Thornhill Vintners where we cater for some of the RSE workers in Marlborough.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced chef to join our established and loyal team. In this role, you will work alongside the Chef Manager delivering consistently delicious meals, day in and day out. Reporting to the Chef Manager, you will be actively involved in cooking, service, and the overall day-to-day operations in a modern, well-equipped kitchen.
We require a chef with a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience, who can support the Chef Manager to:- Deliver a high volume of healthy and nutritious meals
- Prepare meals in bulk cooking style
- Monitor quality of food at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Design menus that are student friendly or relatable to the function brief
- Portray an extensive knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to implement NZ food control and safety regulations
