We are looking for an energetic and motivated Team Leader for our Intensive Support Services in Palmerston North, working with youth and young adults. You will lead a team in supporting our people to live as independently as possible, while also providing a safe environment where they can develop confidence, build friendships, and interact within the community.
There will be a mixture of morning, afternoon and evening shifts across the week and weekend, so having the flexibility to support your team across a variety of shifts is a key part of this role.

A Team Leader assists people with disabilities to live as independently as possible, while leading and motivating their team.
Your day will involve a range of responsibilities, including the following:
- Activities at home and in the community that are meaningful and purposeful to the people, including maximising independence and involving whanau
- Household duties including meal preparation, daily care routines and personal cares
- Working together with a team to implement personal support plans consistently, with effective and positive teamwork and communication
- Providing people with a warm and nurturing environment to live in, which is inclusive of ideas and feedback so that each person is supported towards their personal goals
- Earn competitive pay rates between $23.50 up to $29.10 per hour, plus allowance for Team Leader duties

- Ideally leadership experience, or a genuine desire to develop your leadership expertise

- A full NZ driver's licence and ability to transport passengers confidently and safely in our disability vans
