Looking for a role where who you are matters just as much as what you know?

At MASH Trust, we believe great support workers are good humans first — kind, calm under pressure, and able to truly connect with others. If you're someone who naturally shows up for people, listens deeply, and brings warmth to every interaction, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

As a Support Worker in the Supported Independent Living (SIL) team, you'll walk alongside people in their day-to-day lives — supporting them to build confidence, make choices, connect with others, and live as independently as possible. Some days that means helping with personal care, other days it’s going for a walk, supporting at appointments, or celebrating a small but powerful win.

But it’s not just about showing up, it’s about stepping up. You’ll work with people we support (and their whānau) to set meaningful goals and build plans to help them live their best lives. It’s a proactive role, one where you’ll be supporting people to take the lead in shaping their futures, and that’s what makes the mahi so special.

We’re looking for the right people with the right attitude — and we’ll back you with the training and support to build the skills. You’ll need to be committed to completing a Level 3 or 4 NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing (if you haven’t already), and we’ll be right there to help you succeed.

The work is real, sometimes challenging, always meaningful — and you’ll never be doing it alone. If you’re ready to make a difference and grow while doing it, we’d love to hear from you.

Multiple roles are available, with both part-time (56 hours per fortnight, Monday-Thursday) and casual positions on offer. Due to the nature of our work, you need to be comfortable working split shifts and have a full NZ driver licence.

Contact Genna on 021 537 875 or Kelly on 021 560 172 or recruit@robynyoung.co.nz to learn more about the role.
