About the company and the role

The employer is a respected leader in the construction and heavy equipment industry with a long heritage of supplying, servicing, and supporting world-class earthmoving and road construction machinery is seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join their team in Hamilton.

In this role, you will be responsible for the auto electrical maintenance of a diverse fleet of earthmoving / construction equipment, accurately detecting and diagnosing electrical faults, and ensuring all repairs, including warranty work meet manufacturer specifications.

Rostered after hours call outs and breakdowns will form part of the role for which you will be well compensated. and the opportunity to work with a range of heavy vehicle and diesel brands.

Role requirements

To be considered you should meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a relevant automotive trade qualification (as an Auto Electrician preferred)
  • Relevant heavy auto electrical experience on heavy equipment is required
  • Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities
  • Clean and current driver's licence
  • Strong work ethic and professional attitude
  • Team player
