Queenstown - Carpentry Foreman

Carpentry Foreman | Queenstown | $35 – $40 p.h

A well-respected construction company with a strong reputation for high-quality residential and commercial projects in the Queenstown region is looking for a Carpentry Foreman to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual who enjoys leading site teams, managing workflow, and delivering projects to a high standard. With a diverse range of work including architectural builds, complex renovations, and commercial developments, the role offers variety and long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations on site, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
• Coordinate and lead a team of carpenters and subcontractors
• Interpret building plans and specifications
• Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to maintain progress and timelines
• Order materials and manage site logistics
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety procedures and company policies

You Will Have:

• Proven experience as a qualified carpenter, with leadership or foreman experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and team management abilities
• Sound understanding of site Health & Safety practices
• Full NZ driver’s licence
