Role Overview
The Electronic Engineering Technician will be responsible for supporting the installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic systems and equipment across various projects. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving ability.
Key Responsibilities- Install, test, and maintain electronic systems and components
- Assist in diagnosing faults and repairing electronic equipment
- Support commissioning of control systems, sensors, and automation equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Conduct routine testing, calibration, and system checks
- Record and prepare technical reports and documentation
- Assist with system upgrades and modifications
- Ensure compliance with NZ standards and safety regulations
- Work closely with engineers, electricians, and site teams
