This is a busy and interesting role including the provision of delegated patient care, support with meal delivery and housekeeping tasks and engagement with patients requiring closer observation and support. Professionalism, compassion and a desire to make a positive difference to the wellbeing of people are essential. As a casual employee, you will be offered work only when it is available.
- 5 pro rata.About the Team/Service/ LocationThe Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) provides a comprehensive clinical and operational service 24/7, ensuring patient safety, optimising resource allocation, and supporting effective hospital management.
The IOC incorporates a range of critical services, including Transit Nursing, Allocation and Casual Nursing, the Transit Hub, Variance Response Nursing, the Duty Nurse Manager team, and the National Travel Assistance service.About youShows a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and health equity You must have completed Health and Wellbeing Level 3 or equivalent or be prepared to complete this within your first year of employment.
