School caretaker
We are seeking an energetic caretaker to join our team. We are a supportive staff who work in a supportive school community, enjoy a sense of fun and work with a great bunch of students.
This is a permanent part-time position, suitable for someone who is proactive and reliable. We need someone who is able to work alongside staff and students in a busy school environment. The successful candidate will be able to prioritise, communicate effectively and work unsupervised.The position involves carrying out a wide range of duties to maintain the property, equipment and school grounds. Trades experience a definite plus. The successful candidate will need to be physically fit, have a positive 'can do' attitude and show plenty of initiative and pride.
This role requires a full driver's license.
This position is 25 hours per week (Monday – Friday), 52 weeks of the year. The position falls under the School Caretakers’, Cleaners’ and Canteen Staff Collective Agreement. The salary will be based upon this and there may be negotiation depending on the experience of the successful candidate.
