Restaurant Manager

We are looking for a hardworking candidate for the role of Restaurant Manager in Hawke's Bay. It is a full-time permanent role with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours of work per week, and we are looking for someone whom we can rely on.

• Run smooth operations of the restaurant. Juggling great service, training and rostering your team, planning for future growth, is all in a day’s work
• Must be able to plan the menus to be served in the restaurant in consultation with the chefs.
• Organize events and functions, make proper plans and arrangements for the gathering
• Manage purchases and pricing with the suppliers and carefully prepare a budget for optimal profit
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels
• Manage financial transactions of the restaurants and maintain good record- keeping
• Having discussions with the customers to assess if the customers are satisfied with the meals and services provided
• Value customer feedback and develop strategies for continuous improvements
• Assuring that the dining facilities meet the health and safety regulations
• Ensure that everything is clean, functional and of suitable/presentable appearance.
• Select and train the waiting and kitchen staff along with supervising the staff.
• May be required to take the reservations/bookings.
• Must greet the guests and assist them in taking orders when required.

• Minimum Level 5 qualification OR two years of relevant work experience
