Ropata Lodge and Ropata Village are family-owned aged care communities located in central Lower Hutt. At Ropata, we provide boutique rest home-level care in our spacious apartment-style lodge, alongside independent living units at our nearby village.Our philosophy is simple: to create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable home for our residents, with a team who genuinely cares.
We are now seeking a permanent part-time Office Administrator / Receptionist to join our welcoming team. This role is Monday to Friday, 9am–2pm, offering the perfect balance of meaningful work and personal time.
What you’ll be doing- Welcoming residents, families, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Providing administrative support to management and staff
- Handling accounts, payroll, and employee administration
- Coordinating staff rosters to keep everything running smoothly
- Strong reception and customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Previous experience in administration and/or reception
- Xero experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Someone highly motivated, organised, and people-focused
- Work in a supportive, family-owned environment where your role really matters
