Milford Lodge has several summer positions available in our team, starting September 2025 until May 2026, with the possibility of winter / permanent roles available. This role is diverse, fun, challenging, and rewarding. We strongly believe in work-life balance, working hard, playing hard, personal growth, and supporting each other to be our best.

We are ideally looking ideally for couples for Reception, Housekeeping, Restaurant Front of House, Chefs - we are especially looking for people with front of house experience for our outstanding and reputable restaurant.

• Living onsite, in Milford Sound, the 8th wonder of the world, with a group of like-minded people is a lot of fun, we laugh a lot - you don’t need to worry about finding accommodation and it’s also incredibly cheap.
• Flexible rosters, you can travel and work - our team do rosters to suit their plans, most of us have at least 5 days off in a row every fortnight for a ‘fortnightly holiday’, you can travel the whole country over a season at the lodge and always have a home, family and pay check to come back to.
• Our guests are happy, come and see why, Milford is spectacular, the lodge is beautiful. We care about lodgie and guest experience.
• We care about culture and fun. Social Sundays, family dinners, lodgie bake-off, ping pong competitions are just a few of the items on our weekly team calendar.
• Full fridges are included in your rent, and it is good food, well you do the order! Pair that with the fact we take it in turns to cook the family dinner, meaning 90% of the time dinner is made for you, our international team means dinner is always exciting and we cater for all dietaries.
• Our garden is a world-renowned playground, boat tours, kayaking, climbing, hiking, fishing, hunting, are all yours to enjoy, right on your doorstep.
• We don’t pay minimum wage; we want to support you saving money to spend on what makes you happy.
