We’re on the lookout for energetic, reliable, and motivated people to join our Christchurch team as Event Installers. If you love hands-on work, being outdoors, and working with a fun, fast-paced crew, this is the role for you.
Who We’re Looking For; *Previous experience in the events or construction industry.- Physically fit and ready for an active role.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and a true team player.
- A great communicator with solid customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and proud of your work.
- Flexible with hours — weekends, evenings, and nationwide travel are all part of the adventure.
- A confident driver with a full, clean Licence and the ability to drive manual.
- Class 2 Full Licence.
- Forklift Licence.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Event Installer, you’ll play a key role in bringing events to life across New Zealand. Your day-to-day will include:- Setting up and dismantling marquees and event equipment
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ensuring every installation meets our high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism
- Representing Happy Hire positively when working with clients and event partners
- Learning on the job alongside skilled and supportive crew members
