Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support our warehousing operations to ensure the smooth and timely flow of goods through our Napier facility. Each day, you will play a key role in executing incoming and outgoing goods processes, maintaining accurate data in our ERP system, and ensuring safety and efficiency across all tasks.
The work model for the role is: onsite.This role is contributing to the Production Manufacturing team in Napier.
Main stakeholders include Warehouse Manager, Planning and Fulfilment Team, Supply Chain, Quality, and Production Teams.
You will be mainly accountable for:- Performing regular transactional tasks, including counting stock and picking items to fulfill orders.
- Ensuring all warehousing operations (e.g., packing, replenishment, picking, dispatching) are executed safely and efficiently.
- Accurately recording and maintaining inventory and logistics data in SAP ERP.
- Collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to support timely and accurate material handling.
- Supporting compliance with SOPs, inventory control, and non-conformance reporting processes.
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Qualifications for the role- Forklift Operator Certificate is desirable but not essential (we can provide you with a training).
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse processes and commitment to safety and process adherence.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in presenting to peers and supervisors.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and SAP ERP (or other warehouse management systems).
- Ability to lead smaller projects and take initiative in improving warehouse processes.
- High level of physical fitness and structured approach to daily task management.
- Fluent in English with proven skills in reading, writing, and numeracy.
