The Ministry's values are integrity, excellence and collaboration.About the opportunity | Ngā whakamārama mō te tūngaWe're looking for two Business Support Coordinators (BSC) to join our small and agile Ministry, providing high-quality administrative support to key groups within the Ministry.As a BSC, you'll be the go-to person for your portfolio of managers and teams, delivering administrative solutions that help things run smoothly.
You'll build strong working relationships, anticipate needs, and contribute to the success of your group.We currently have two opportunities to support the following groups:Investment and MonitoringCorporate Services and Performance & GovernanceThis is a fantastic opportunity to:Grow your career in the public sectorGain valuable insight into the transport sectorWork in a collaborative and supportive environmentMake a meaningful contribution to the work we do for New ZealandKey tasks include:Providing administrative support to the business group managers, including diary and event managementFormatting documents, scheduling meetings, and external activities, providing printing or photocopying supportProviding shared secretarial and administrative supportEnsuring papers, documents, reports and presentations are prepared to required timeframes and quality standardsArranging travel and accommodationAssisting with organising seminars, workshops, conferences and/or functions, by coordinating arrangements, invitations, budgets etcWhat you'll bring | Te wāhi ki a koeExperience in a coordinator or administration support role within a complex multi-functional office environmentExperience providing customer support and solutions, in a continuous improvement focused environment Experience working under pressure without close supervision, managing multiple priorities and timelinesDemonstrated interpersonal and relationship building skills including experience in building integral relationships quickly and easilyDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft tools and productsDemonstrated positive, willing, agile and flexible working stylePrevious experience working in the public sector will be advantageous.
Salary range | Whānuitanga Utu ā-TauThe base salary range budget for this position is up to $57,764- $70,000 per annum + KiwiSaver.
