Truck Driver

We are looking for three experienced class 4 truck drivers to join our team. These are full time and permanent positions in Auckland region.

• Manoeuvre trucks and plant safely into position for loading and unloading operations.
• Load and unload materials using lifting and tipping devices.
• Comply with all workplace health, safety and environmental requirements during loading and unloading activities.
• Conduct routine pre-start and operational vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are road worthy and safe to operate.
• Estimate weights to comply with load limitations and ensure safe distribution of weight.
• Ensure materials are securely loaded to prevent loss and damage.
• Verify delivery documentation, check conditions of load upon delivery and obtain required confirmations or certifications.

• At least 1 year experience as a class 4 truck driver.
• Clean NZ class 4 or 5 licence or equivalent.
• New Zealand resident or citizen.
• Drug testing clearance.

• Excellent hourly pay: $30-$35 per hour (depending on skills and work experience)
• Shift work ( mornings and nights)
• Working hours: as early as 3am or late night starts, depending on projects.
• You will be rostered to work either morning or night shifts.
• Minimum guaranteed 30 hours of work per week.
• Overtime starts after 40 hours at ordinary rate.
