Class 5 Truck Driver
Auckland
Yakka Contracting Ltd is looking for a reliable Class 5 Truck Driver to transport materials across New Zealand. Daily truck allocations will be provided, and you will be required to drive any truck and configuration as per the day’s needs. Training will be provided for all vehicles and tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate Class 5 manual trucks across various configurations.
- Ensure timely, safe deliveries and follow safety regulations.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness.
- Travel nationwide with occasional overnight stays.
- Work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Class 5 New Zealand driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must hold Logbook & Fatigue Unit Standard 24089
- Experience driving Class 5 trucks & trailer within New Zealand
- Ability to drive different trucks as allocated.
- Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and reliability.
- Competitive hourly rate (based on Experience)
- Daily truck allocations and training provided.
