You
  • ll help patients maximise their functionalindependence.This role is based in Nelson Hospital and is a permanentrole, working up to 72 hours per fortnight (0.9 FTE), between Monday to Friday8.00AM to 4.30PM.

On-call is notrequired at this time, however you may be required to work Saturday shifts inthe future.

For more information on living and working in Nelson click hereAbout youAs an Occupational Therapist, you will:be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs,have a genuine passion for working with patients in the hospital on their health journey,effective time management and organisational skills,work autonomously, collaboratively, and develop positive interpersonal relationships,have a full clean drivers licence,have NZregistration in Occupational Therapy, a current practising certificate and arange of generalist and life skills.

Experience for over 2 years in Strokerehabilitation and brain injury is preferred.Thesuccessful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZvisa at the time of applying.
