Occupational Therapist Nelson (0.9 FTE)
Occupational Therapist, Nelson Hospital, Permanent Part-time
This role is for a senior therapist with experience to work as part of the multidisciplinary team at the Assessment and Rehabilitation Unit at Nelson Hospital. You will work directly alongside another skilled Occupational therapist and Occupational Therapy Allied Health Assistant which you will support and share your experience with.

About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist in our close-knit team, you will provide tailored rehabilitation services and support patients through their healthcare journey. You - ll help patients maximise their functional independence.
This role is based in Nelson Hospital and is a permanent role, working up to 72 hours per fortnight (0.9 FTE), between Monday to Friday 8.00AM to 4.30PM. On-call is not required at this time, however you may be required to work Saturday shifts in the future.

About you
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
- be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs,
- have a genuine passion for working with patients in the hospital on their health journey,
- effective time management and organisational skills,
- work autonomously, collaboratively, and develop positive interpersonal relationships,
- have a full clean drivers licence,
- have NZ registration in Occupational Therapy, a current practising certificate and a range of generalist and life skills. Experience for over 2 years in Stroke rehabilitation and brain injury is preferred.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
