Receptionist Legal Assistant

We are seeking a professional and personable Reception / Legal Assistant to join this well established Law Firm and play a key role in supporting their clients and legal team. As the first point of contact, you will welcome clients and visitors in a friendly, polished manner, manage incoming calls, meeting rooms, diaries, and ensure the reception and meeting areas reflect the Firm’s high professional standards.

This varied role also includes legal administration support such as preparing and typing accurate legal documents and correspondence, opening and maintaining client files, filing and scanning deeds, managing mail and couriers, and assisting with AML/CFT compliance requirements.

You will handle invoice payments and EFTPOS, respond promptly to client enquiries, and support authors with day-to-day administrative tasks.

YOU WILL NEED:
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Good keyboard skills
  • Proven experience with MSOffice, particularly MSWord and a good grasp of document formatting.
  • A high level of presentation to reflect the professionalism of a law office.

The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-focused, and client-centred, with strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise effectively. You will enjoy working collaboratively, maintaining confidentiality, and contributing to positive client relationships and Firm operations.
