The Role

You’ll become "the face of the hotel", the front desk/reception is the 'nerve hub' of a hotel. Receiving, processing and passing on of information is at this roles core, all while ensuring our guests first and last impression is positively memorable.

This is a full time position requiring a commitment of at least 37.5 hours per week.

Attributes, Responsibilities & Knowledge:
  • 1+ years guest service experience, preferably in the hotel industry
  • Physical ability to be on your feed for most parts of your shift
  • Ability for planning ahead and finding most efficient ways to deliver best guest service
  • A high standard of personal presentation
  • "Hands on approach" to your work and "can do" attitude.
  • A friendly smile and excellent verbal and written communication skills (English proficiency is a must)
Organisational & Operational Skills
  • Previous experience with PMS (ideally Oracle Opera or similar)
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Ability to work within a team as well as autonomously at times
  • High attention to detail and immaculate time management skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts Mon-Sun
Creativity & Adaptability
  • Willingness to contribute in development and implementation of ongoing service standard improvements
  • An eye for detail in the presentation of the reception and lobby environment
  • Problem-solving when faced with last-minute changes and/or operational obstacles
  • Foreign language skills a plus
