• Minimum 3 years of continuous painting experience (residential or commercial)
• Strong skills in cutting in, rolling, and general painting techniques
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• A keen eye for attention to detail and pride in your work
• A valid driver’s licence and your own reliable transport
• Good work ethic, well presented and a professional attitude
• Strong customer service skills, you’ll often be dealing directly with homeowners

• Erecting scaffolding and ladders, and placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering

• Selecting and preparing paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives
• Applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays
• Hanging wallpaper, matching patterns and trimming edges
• Cleaning equipment and work areas

• Spray painting experience
• Wallpapering
• Plastering or GIB stopping

• Strong Customer service skills.
