Mitre 10 MEGA Hornby is a family-owned Christchurch business which strives to offer exceptional customer service to every customer-every time.
We currently have fixed term part time vacancies in customer service desk team to help us over the busy summer holiday period. These position are crucial and aim to provide our customers with an award-winning level of customer experience.
For these positions we are looking for customer service superstars who have:- Enthusiasm and team spirit

- A quick and alert mind, with the ability to adapt and be flexible
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Godo level of computer and technology skills
Previous retail experience and/or experience within customer service will be viewed very favourably.
These roles report to the Customer Service Team Leader with the hours and days of work to be agreed with the successful candidates. We're open 7 days, from 7am - 7pm.
We would love to have applications from candidates who are able to fill two (or more) shifts, however if you are only available for a weekend shift, your application may still be considered.
