Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Puautahanui, Wellington

We're looking for a qualified heavy diesel mechanic to join our workshop team. Reporting to our workshop manager, you will be working on a wide range of our fleet, including;- Light Vechicles
- Light Trucks
- Heavy trucks (American, European, and Japanese)
- Morbark chippers - 12" to 36"
- Excavators - 1.7ton - 30ton
- Stump grinders
Carrying out everything from minor servicing, VCA checks, COF's and repairs, through to full strip-down engine rebuilds. This role also includes visiting sites in the field and performing field service and breakdown work.
What we are looking for;- Qualified, with a minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience
- A positive, can-do attitude with the willingness to follow instructions
- A minimum of a full clean NZ Drivers license (Class 2, 4, 5, is better)
- A person who takes pride in their work is self-driven.
