Hiab Truck Driver

Wide load piloting would also form part of this role from time to time (once trained).

The successful applicant will:

• Be a team player and show initiative;
• Be reliable and punctual;
• Be physically fit and pass applicable work place drug testing;
• Be willing to be flexible in driving / piloting work;
• Hold a New Zealand class 5 drivers’ licence and Class 2 Wide Load Pilot licence (although for the right person the Wide Load Pilot licence can be obtained post recruitment);
• Hold Unit Standards 30072 and 16617 for truck mounted crane operation although for the right person, we would arrange training to be completed;
• Be available to work the occasional Saturday; and
• Have relevant and recent truck driving and hiab experience. Wide load driving experience would be an advantage.

Candidates would need to be prepared to undergo a pre-employment driving assessment, as well as pre-employment drug testing, health monitoring and also undertake our health and safety induction.
