Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize all warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. The role ensures efficient, safe, and cost-effective movement of goods while leading a team to meet company goals for accuracy, timeliness, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and maintain high accuracy using warehouse management systems.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize warehouse layout, storage utilization, and workflow efficiency.
- Lead, train, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and fostering a safe working environment.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including carrier negotiations, route planning, and tracking to meet delivery deadlines.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and operational costs; prepare reports and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, sales, and supply chain) to resolve issues and support overall business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and implementation of new technologies or procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within warehousing, logistics, distribution, or a related industry (e.g., manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, or third-party logistics).
- Proven experience managing warehouse teams and operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management systems (WMS), and logistics software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and data analysis.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse settings.
Preferred Skills
Certification in logistics or supply chain is a plus.Experience with lean warehousing principles or continuous improvement initiatives.
