About our company

Glory Panel & Paint Limited is the leading provider of quality panel beating and paint services, based in Christchurch. Due to our business expansion, we are looking for panelbeaters to join our friendly team.

What you will do but not limited to the following:

Assessing the extent of damage to the vehicle’s body and frame

Removing damaged panels and other parts

Straightening out dents and bends in metal panels

Cutting welding and repairing damaged areas

Filling in gaps and smoothing out surfaces with body filler

Sanding and grinding the body to prepare for painting

Applying primer, paint, and clear coat to restore the finish

Reassembling the vehicle with repaired and new parts

Testing and inspecting the vehicle to ensure it is safe and performs properly

Spray-painting vehicles

Suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

Either have at least three years of relevant experience or NZQF Level 4 qualification

Good communication and professional skills

Punctual, honest, reliable and hardworking

Keen to work well within a team setting

Great attention to details

What we can offer:

Full time employment in Christchurch

Hourly rate: $27.5/hour gross - $30/hour gross

Hours of week per week: a minimum of 30 hours, no more than 55 hours per week, from Monday to Saturday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Over time maybe expected
