To assist with the day-to-day tasks on farm, including feeding, animal health, and repairs and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities include- Assisting with all wintering requirements
- Feeding out and setting up break fences
- Identifying and fixing water troughs when issues arise
- Identifying problems with fencing and fixing them
- Assist with all stock management as directed by farm manager
- Assist with all environmental compliance as directed by the farm manager.
- Comply with all health and safety requirements as per the company’s health and safety policy.
- The ability to carry out duties unsupervised in sometimes harsh weather conditions, safely and efficiently
- Reliable and a team player
- Ability to work under pressure
- Organisational and time management skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Positive approach to change and finding solutions
You must posses a full driving licence and the ability to get to various sites in the area.
