A position has come available at Longridge Station in the Slopedown, Clinton area.
We are a 2000ha, 15,000su sheep and beef breeding and fattening unit finishing all stock to a high standard. We run Romney/Romdale ewes and Angus & Angus Hereford cross cows.
A sense of humour and a can-do attitude is essential.

This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to up skill them self.
The ideal Applicant will have:- A basic knowledge of sheep and beef farming would be an advantage
- 2-5 good working dogs is essential.
- Good stockmanship skills.
- Being competent with general farm machinery would be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of all general farm maintenance would an advantage.
- A full NZ driver licence.
- Initiative and be dependable.
- The ability to work independently and in a team.
- The ability to use technology in farming.
- A good attitude towards Health and Safety and all other compliance requirements is essential.
