Senior Business Analyst
What you will be doing
As our Senior Business Analyst, you will be joining a high-performing Digital Delivery team. This strategic role is responsible for leading business analysis to support the development and implementation of digital solutions at Auckland Airport.The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, ensure alignment with organisational objectives, and drive initiatives that enhance user experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to transformative, high-impact projects that shape the company's digital landscape.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Lead the elicitation, documentation, and prioritisation of business requirements for high-impact digital projects across multiple domains
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes, identifying opportunities for transformation and efficiency
- Support decision-making with data-driven recommendations and performance metrics
- Collaborate closely with design, development, and product management teams to translate business needs into detailed functional specifications. Ensure that proposed solutions are user-centric and aligned with business strategy
- Act as a key liaison between business units and technical teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration
- Assist in project planning and execution, tracking project progress, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones. Contribute to project governance and reporting
- Provide training and support to end-users on new digital tools and processes
- Actively contribute to the development of innovative approaches that enhance organizational capabilities
What you’ll bring to the role

To ensure your success in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with a strong focus on digital transformation initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar
- Extensive knowledge of digital technologies, platforms, and trends
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and understanding of Project Management and software development principles and lifecycles
- Business process modelling and workflow analysis
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Strong meeting and workshop facilitation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic and continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent planning and organisation skills and solutions focussed approach
