About the role
Norwood’s Pukekohe Dealership are looking for a permanent, full-time Service Technician to take charge of the pre-delivery assembly and servicing of agricultural and construction machinery. You’ll be working with world class machinery in our well-equipped workshop, applying your knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, assembly and servicing processes to deliver exceptional results.If you enjoy working with new equipment and have a meticulous approach to your work, we’d love to hear from you!
What you’ll do:
- Assemble and prepare agricultural and construction machinery for sale
- Perform pre-delivery inspections to ensure machinery meets quality standards
- Assemble hydraulic components with precision
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail
- Support the workshop with general servicing and repairs to ensure it operates at peak efficiency
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in agricultural, construction or heavy machinery assembly or servicing.
- A strong understanding of hydraulics, engines, transmissions, and driveline systems.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions, service manuals, and assembly diagrams.
- High attention to detail, time management, and a proactive approach to quality workmanship.
