To be successful in this role you will be someone who understands the importance of reliability and who actively promotes Health and Safety. To ensure our standards remain high, the successful candidate will:
- Hold a relevant qualification or at least 2 years’ experience in this role or similar
- Have the ability to carrying out a full range of repairs, maintenance and servicing on any fleet vehicle including trucks, trailers, swing lifts, forklifts, utility vehicles and cars as directed.
- Carry out compliance activities for COF and WOF for fleet vehicles (as directed).
- Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
- Be available for callouts and breakdowns to ensure our fleet is always on the move!
- Carry out repairs and maintenance of the following: brake systems, suspension systems, electrical systems, clutches, and body damage.
- Reassemble, test & adjust engines, and parts after being repaired for proper performance.
- Act in accordance with all company standards, legislative and manufacturer requirements at all times.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and a Ministry of Justice check. Applicants for this position should have NZ Residency or valid NZ work visa.
