Taipa Beach Resort, nestled on the picturesque Doubtless Bay at 22 Taipa Point Road Northland 0420, offers a unique blend of serene beachside relaxation and easy access to Northland's attractions. This resort provides a wide array of accommodations, including studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments, amounting to a total of 32 bedrooms. Moreover, it features a vibrant conference and events venue.

You will work alongside our Head Chef to create innovative dishes that will help showcase your skills and help you develop your culinary career. This is an ideal role to grow further into your career with plenty of developmental opportunities.

This is a Part-time, minimum 16 hour per week position.

• Prepare and execute a variety of dishes according to the menu specifications and standards set by the Head Chef.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
• Contribute to inventory management and ordering of ingredients to ensure freshness and availability.
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
• Understanding of current Health & Safety obligations, ensuring the Kitchen is fully compliant to the SOP's, Policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Exhibit a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Current Food Safety Handling Certificate.
• Hotel Industry knowledge an advantage.
• Proven minimum 1 year experience as a Chef
