Greerton - Field Service Technician

The Porter Group is a major player in the construction equipment industry, backed by our own product support crew and onsite workshops. We service and support new and used machinery across a wide range of leading brands.

Due to growing demand, we’re on the hunt for a Field Service Technician to join our Waihi branch. You’ll be out in the field and in the workshop, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and completing pre-delivery checks on sold equipment.

• Self-motivated with great time management
• Trade qualified or 3+ years’ experience in heavy equipment servicing
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Customer-focused and great with people
• Confident working solo and taking initiative
• Full NZ Class 1 licence (or equivalent)
• WTR endorsements - a bonus, but not essential

Hourly Rate: $35 - $40/hour (experience-dependent)
