Production Machine Engineer - Auckland
We currently have vacancies for both day and evening shifts.
Working hours: 30 - 40 hours per week on a full-time basis.
Full time$31.70-33.00 per hour
Day shift: 6:00 AM - 2:40 PMAfternoon shift: 2:20 PM - 9:00 PM
Night Shift: 8:30 PM - 5:30 AM
All applicants can be shifted upon the request of the company.
Position Summary:The Production Machine Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of production machinery within our manufacturing facility. This role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, improving machine efficiency, and supporting production teams to achieve operational excellence and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities:- Machine Maintenance and Troubleshooting
o Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Process Optimization
o Collaborate with production teams to implement solutions that enhance product quality and reduce waste.
- Preventive Maintenance
o Monitor and document equipment performance to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Health and Safety Compliance
o Promote a safe working environment by following and enforcing safety protocols.
- Technical Support and Documentation
o Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
Key Requirements:- Education or Experience
o Minimum of 3 years of experience working with production machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills and Competencies
o Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in production equipment.
o Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.o Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and machine manuals.
o Proficiency in using maintenance management software is a plus.
- Other Requirements
o Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
o Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.o Familiarity with health and safety standards in an industrial setting.
