Head Kaiako - Wellington
Due to our gorgeous Head Kaiako wanting to give up commuting and work within her hometown we have a leadership position available at our boutique service in Waikanae Beach.
We are licenced for just 25 tamariki, 5 in our nursery and 20 in our preschool. We have an awesome small team of kaiako 4 qualified kaiako, 2 untrained support staff and our evening hygienist. Our team is supported by a Centre Manager with extra support from an additional Manager and full administration team.Our whanau, tamariki and team are supportive, engaging and super special to us.
We offer full pay parity, great paid PLD opportunities and we are improvement focused with our tamariki being the centre of decision making. We offer a range of release time allowances for the service which is encouraged to be used each week to ensure that the important mahi is able to be done and completed.We have a pool of qualified ECE travelling Kaiako to support covering all leave types as well as an experienced team of leaders that support mentorship and guidance.
