Wellington - Early Learning Centre Manager

Our brilliant Centre Manager is relocating to our Petone Centre and we are looking for an experienced and passionate manager to continue to lead our well-established team of Kaiako in our small community centre. Working alongside a region of dedicated leaders and managers, we are looking for someone to join us that knows how to lead to greatness in our unique centre.

We are a full pay parity employer, the salary for this role is $104,746

• Oversee daily operations with precision, fostering a supportive and enriching environment that enhances tamariki wellbeing and development.
• Achieve financial and occupancy targets while upholding our core principals and commitments to tamariki and whanau.
• Mentor and guide a dedicated team of educators and teachers, reflecting the principles of partnership inherent in Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the unique place of Maori as tangata whenua.
• Balance management duties with hands-on teaching, leading by example to maintain an excellent early learning environment.
• Continue our successful partnership with our supportive parent committee.

• ECE/Primary qualification (Bachelor or Diploma) with full certification (essential).
• Proven experience in early childhood education and previous managerial and leadership roles.
• Exceptional ability to foster meaningful connections and high trust relationships.
• Inspirational leadership with the ability to advocate for tamariki and whanau.
• Familiarity with Te Whariki and a dedication to high-quality practices.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
