Our comprehensive fleet is equipped with eRoad GPS vehicle tracking for real time vehicle positioning and up to the minute tracking, paired with a powerful web-based container management and tracking application that delivers direct in-cab job scheduling via tablets showing in real-time progress and planning of each job.
We currently have a permanent full-time position available for the right candidate to join our metro based team carting containers and freight around Surrounding Christchurch Metro Areas and to/from the Lyttelton Port our depot in Woolston.
Class 5 Truck Driver - Dayshift Position
We are looking for candidates who are:- Competent in operating heavy vehicles in a safe and professional manner
- Has a clean driving record with a minimum of 2 years experience with a Class 5 Licence
- Able to work as part of a moderate sized tight knit, co-operative team
- Has good and clear English communication skills and a can-do positive attitude
- Flexible in hours of work from time to time as required
- Maintains a high level of Health & Safety awareness and compliance
- Applicants for this position should have NZ residency
- Previous Container Transport experience in Christchurch will make for a favourable job application but is not essential for the right person
- Have your own reliable transport to travel to and from work
- Competent in operation of an android tablet in the vehicle for job allocation and communication.
