We're also committed to enabling aviation participants to support economic growth in New Zealand's aviation sector. We are looking for an experienced customer-focussed learning designer to join our Learning and Capability team as a Senior Advisor, Learning Design.
Based in Wellington, this is a new role and a great opportunity to partner with our creative Learning Development and Design team, learning delivery group leaders and SMEs to develop fit for purpose e-learning modules that help the CAA meet regulatory learning needs across the organisation.
About the role As a Senior Advisor, Learning Design, you will: Interpret learning needs and develop practical learning options using the most appropriate learning channels and technology. Create engaging and innovative learning experiences using fit for purpose learning design methodologies to meet the target audience's needs.
Design and maintain learning experiences that are appropriate and reflect operational policies, standards and practice. Contribute to the development of effective project management and implementation plans to support the learning design and delivery process.
Provide leadership and mentoring to junior team members. About you You are an experienced senior learning designer with a high degree of creativity who can hit the ground running through designing and delivering a variety of high-quality e-learning solutions, materials, products and tools.
You will bring Experience and a successful track record working in areas of adult education, instructional design and learning technologies. Experience in designing e-learning experiences using Articulate Storyline 360, or equivalent tools, such as Rise or Adobe Captivate.
An in depth understanding of the ADDIE model of instructional design. Good understanding of the New Zealand Qualifications Framework, and application of the Framework in an industry setting. A relevant tertiary qualification in education, training, learning and development.
Familiarity with or experience in the aviation sector or regulatory environments is an advantage, but not essential. The salary band for this role role starts at $115 536 and goes to a maxium of $161 412. Starting salaries are based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, as well as internal relativities.
