Part-Time Cleaner at Affinity Fitness

• Position: Permanent Part-Time Cleaner
• Start Date: 4th March 2026
• Hours: 4 hours per day, 6 days per Week, 24 hours total.
• Days: Monday to Saturday
• Fixed Hours: 6:30 AM - 10:30AM (Monday to Friday), 7.30am - 11.30am Satruday.

About the Role:

Affinity Fitness is seeking a dedicated and reliable cleaner to join our team at one of Christchurch's premier gym facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently in a dynamic, health-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the gym
• Handle cleaning duties autonomously with minimal supervision
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are met daily
• Work collaboratively with a small, friendly team

• Possesses prior cleaning experience (required)
• Has a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Is highly autonomous and comfortable working alone
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail
• Is honest, committed, and dependable
• Is personable and enjoys working in a social environment

Requirements:

• Physical fitness to move and handle gym and cleaning equipment
• Confidence in using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
• Ability to pass a New Zealand Ministry of Justice background check (if required)
• 90 Day trail period applies
