Apprentice Mechanical Engineer (Fitter/Machinist)

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Mechanical Engineer to join our busy engineering workshop, specialising in the refurbishment and manufacturing of industrial gears and power transmission equipment.

What we're looking for:

• Hardworking attitude and willingness to learn
• Punctual, reliable and committed to developing trade skills
• A keen interest in mechanical engineering and machining
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problems
• Committed to completing a 3-4 year apprenticeship
• A NZ driver's licence

About the role:

• Full-time position
• Standard hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime available at time and a half
• Hands-on training in machining, mechanical fitting, gear/box refurbishment and manufacturing processes
• Work alongside experienced tradespeople in a supportive workshop environment
