Workshop Supervisor
Reviewing, motivating, and lifting the performance of all people within teams is a requirement for this management role.
**Key Responsibilities**- Lead and support the workshop team across mould maintenance, stainless steel collar and fabrication.
- Mentor, coach and develop your people so they're skilled, confident and ready to deliver.
- Drive production to meet quality, safety and delivery targets every day.
- Champion continuous improvement - find smarter, safer and better ways of working.
- Be the go-to technical support for fabrication, moulds and mechanical engineering.
- Keep safety front and centre - lead by example and make sure everyone goes home safe.
- Ensure the workshop is organised, clean and running efficiently.
- Support training, performance and team growth to build a high-performing crew.
- Trade qualification or degree in mechanical engineering (or similar).
- 5+ years' experience in fabrication, engineering or workshop leadership.
- A natural leader who knows how to motivate, coach and bring out the best in people.
- Strong technical know-how and problem-solving skills.
- Safety-focused, quality-driven and proud of getting things right the first time.
- Confident communicator who builds great relationships.
- Working experience implementing 5S and lean Principles would be advantageous
