About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Radiation Therapist to step into a Treatment Supervisor role within our dynamic and forward-thinking Radiation Therapy team. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career, leading clinical excellence and contributing to service innovation in a supportive and collaborative environment.
As Treatment Supervisor, you will:
Provide clinical leadership and oversight of daily treatment workflows- Support and mentor staff to ensure high standards of patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive service improvements
- Contribute to quality assurance, audits, and clinical development initiatives
- Encouraging and engaging others to contribute to organisational change.

Technology Services
Our department has 4 Elekta linear accelerators, a Siemens 64 slice CT scanner and Monaco treatment planning system. The department provides a gynaecological and prostate HDR brachytherapy service and uses Mosaiq as its patient management system.
We deliver a full spectrum of advanced techniques including VMAT, IMRT, SBRT, DIBH, and comprehensive IGRT modalities. Staff are encouraged to participate in a wide range of innovative projects and service development initiatives.
About You
We welcome applications from Radiation Therapists with ideally 5+ years of clinical experience, with strong expertise in treatment delivery. You will also demonstrate the following:
- Proven leadership capabilities or a desire to grow into a leadership roles
- A commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care
- A proactive, flexible approach and strong teamwork skills
- Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
