Sales Account Manager - Te Awamutu

DuCo Windows and Doors are looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager with a strong focus on customer service. Liaising directly with Homeowners, Builders and other key contacts, the successful applicant will be an excellent communicator, have a good knowledge of the building industry and have a positive working relationships with colleagues and clients alike.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Identify and follow up new sales opportunities.
• Respond to initial customer enquiries and check plan/specification is suitable for preparing quotes.
• Prepare quotes accurately, ensuring that they are returned to customers in a timely manner.
• Promptly respond to any customer queries, maximising sales value for each opportunity.
• Meet with customers to confirm job specifications and present various options.
• Assist with homeowner selections & finalizing joinery options.
• Follow up & complete sales opportunities.

The successful candidate will:

• Preferably have previous experience in the Aluminium Joinery industry.
• Understand current NZ Construction industry and building methods.
• Be patient, tactful, diplomatic and approachable, enjoy working with people and be a great communicator.
• Be confident, yet consultative.
• Be consistent, accurate and thorough.
• Have an analytical and problem solving mindset and
• Have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
