About the role
Join the team at Dominion Carpet Co (Christchurch) Limited' as a Residential Sales Consultant. This full-time position is based in our Christchurch Central Canterbury location, where you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales for our high-quality carpet and flooring products.
What you'll be doing
Engage with residential customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutionsDemonstrate product knowledge and guide customers through the selection process
Prepare detailed sales proposals and quotations
Follow up with customers to close sales and ensure a positive buying experience
Liaise with the installation team to coordinate seamless service delivery
Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the business
What we're looking for
Proven sales experience, preferably within the residential flooring or home improvement industryExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong customer relationships
Strong product knowledge and the ability to educate customers on features and benefits
Exceptional attention to detail and customer service orientation
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Flexible and adaptable approach to meet customer needs
