CNC Machine Operator

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Essential:

• At least three years of experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Practical understanding of CNC tooling, calibration, and machine setup.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to meet production targets and work to deadlines.
• Basic computer skills and confidence using CNC operating systems and software.

Desirable:

• Experience operating 5-axis CNC routers, ideally within woodworking, furniture, or joinery manufacturing.
• Experience with maintenance procedures and troubleshooting CNC machinery.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach.
• Reliable, punctual, and consistent in attendance and performance.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and willing to assist across production functions.
• Positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week, between Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm.
