Disabled Caregiver -
Daily care of an individual who has sustained spinal and brain trauma.
Daily task involve but are not limited to:- Attendant care level 1
- Attendant care level 2
- Home Help
- Assistance with rehabilitation program
- Current first aid certification
An educated understanding of dietary requirements, food prep, meal prep, nutrition and a highly competent cooking ability.
Additional skills viewed favourably:Computer literacy - Ability to navigate and operate standard Microsoft office programs with Microsoft Excel being the primary tool used for modelling.
Physical Attributes - The role has a high level of physical activity from both the rehabilitation program assigned by physical therapists along with the assisting the individuals main vocation being an operational dry stock farm that he has an active role and large degree of interest in.
Successful candidates will have either a minimum level 4 qualification OR a minimum of 3 years of work experience.
7 day, 24 hour rostered shifts. Full time with a minimum of 35 hours per week at $32 per hour
Exposure to agriculture is a viewed favourably. Good practical skills, work ethic and accountability.
The position is located rurally - private vehicle requiredMust be available for shift work, overnights, weekends and public holidays.
Modern home with all necessary modifications and equipment onsite for daily tasks and rehabilitation.
Appropriate paperwork to work in NZClean full driver’s license
Clean drug test
