About the Role

As Area Manager, you will provide strong leadership across all sales functions, working closely with the Regional Manager to set and achieve stretching but achievable budgets, targets and KPIs. You will lead from the front, modelling best practice in sales, professionalism and ethical behaviour while developing a cohesive, motivated and high-performing team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, motivating and supporting sales consultants to achieve income, vendor contribution and market share targets
  • Establishing and monitoring individual business plans aligned with company and regional strategies
  • Delivering regular one-on-one business development meetings and performance reviews
  • Running training and coaching sessions for salespeople at all performance levels
  • Promoting and maintaining Property Brokers’ culture, values and brand standards
  • Ensuring company systems, policies and procedures are consistently followed
  • Supporting Property Management and administrative teams to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Managing complaints and internal issues professionally and in line with company guidelines

This role is hands-on, people-focused and performance-driven, offering the opportunity to make a tangible impact on both business results and individual careers.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A current New Zealand real estate licence (Branch Manager licence preferred; willingness to obtain if not held)
  • A proven track record of personal success in real estate sales (we could change this if you are looking for leadership over sales experience)
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing salespeople
  • Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate and manage performance
  • A commitment to professionalism, ethics and client service excellence
