The Role- Te TūrangaJoin our collaborative and supportive in-house legal team, where you'll work on a broad range of legal issues across Aotearoa's financial markets.
This is a fast-paced and rewarding role that places you at the heart of regulatory decision-making, policy development, and outcome-focused reform.You'll be advising on complex financial markets legislation, supporting regulatory responses to potential breaches, and engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders—including market participants, their advisers, and teams across the FMA.
The work is varied and intellectually stimulating, with opportunities to contribute to law reform, guidance, and key organisational initiatives.You'll be encouraged to bring your ideas to the table, grow your expertise, and work alongside experienced and passionate legal professionals.This role can be based in either our Auckland or Wellington office.About You- Ō PūkengaWe're looking for an experienced solicitor with at least 5 years' post-admission experience and a current practising certificate (or eligibility for one).You may come from a range of legal backgrounds, but you'll be motivated to deepen your expertise in financial markets law and contribute to improved outcomes for New Zealand's markets and consumers.
