Hiring for Concrete Worker to work in Newzealand

Summary:

We are seeking experienced Concrete Workers to support our Transport and Infrastructure division on footpath, pavement, and road renewal projects across Auckland. This hands-on role is critical to delivering high-quality, durable infrastructure across multiple active worksites.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and preparing worksites for concrete placement and finishing activities
• Install and secure formwork and structural frameworks for concrete pours
• Place, screed, and finish concrete, including exposed aggregate and other premium finishes
• Operate hand tools, small plant, and materials handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Adhere strictly to site-specific HSE policies and safe work practices
• Communicate clearly and proactively with supervisors and crew members

• Valid Class 1 driver licence
• 5+ years of experience in concrete placement, finishing, and related civil construction tasks
• Ability to work effectively in diverse weather conditions and outdoor environments
• Strong work ethic with demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and teamwork
• Commitment to maintaining safe and compliant work practices
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labour tasks consistently

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Prior experience in footpath, road, or civil infrastructure construction projects
• Familiarity with operating small plant or machinery used in concrete operations
• Understanding of site work instructions, sequencing, and project workflows
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision when required
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn, develop skills, and contribute to team success
