Drainage Labourer / Apprentice Drainlayer
Smart Contracting is looking for a Drainage Labourer or Apprentice Drainlayer to join our growing team. If you enjoy hands-on work, being outdoors and want a long-term career in drainage, this could be the opportunity for you.
About the role
You’ll be working alongside experienced drainlayers on a variety of residential and civil projects. This role is ideal if you already have some site experience, or if you’re keen to get started (or continue) in the drainlaying trade.
What we are looking for- Class 2 driver license (essential)
- A great attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual and a solid work ethic
- Physically fit and happy working outdoors in all conditions
- Previous drainage or civil experience is an advantage, but not essential
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Full-time, ongoing work
- Support to start or complete a Drainlaying Apprenticeship for the right person
- Supportive team and a positive work environment

About You
You’re someone who takes pride in their work, gets stuck in, and wants more than just a short-term job. A good attitude matters more to us than experience. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
